Department of Education invites online applications from potential candidates through its official website as per schedule for recording in LPT courses in the state for the academic year 2016-2016. LPCET 2016 will be conducted in the month of September 2016 in all districts of AP State.

Registration fee:

Selection criteria:

Age limit:

Candidates who have passed the minimum qualification tests listed below are eligible to apply.
1. Telugu Pandit:
BA (Telugu literature) or BA (Oriental language Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental language Telugu or a college degree with elective Telugu or MA (Telugu)

2. Hindi Pandit:
recognized A college degree with elective Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) of the Government of Telangana or MA (Hindi) ,

3. Urdu Pandit:
BA (Urdu literature) or BA (Oriental Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental language Urdu or diploma with elective Urdu of m.a (Urdu).

Candidates who have appeared for the final aptitude tests or its equivalent in this academic year are also eligible LP CET-2016 entrance examination are valid under the condition that they should produce their passport certificates at the time of consultation without fail.

The above-mentioned qualifications are prescribed for LPCET-2016 only. The Government may prescribe the qualifications in teacher recruitment test (TRT) / TET cum TRT.

Scheme of Placement Test

Part III: Language - 30 Questions
Part IV: Literature - 40 Questions

1. Numerical ability: four basic operations (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) and average.
2. Language:
Telugu Pandit: 1. Language of the 8th to 10th classes of AP State Syllabus
Urdu Pandit: 1. Language of the 8th to 10th classes of AP State Syllabus
Hindi Pandit second language 8 to 8 classes of TS State Syllabus
3. Literature: Diploma Standard

Seats allocation:
All sanctioned intake of seats in Language Pandit Training Course in the Government.
